The museums in Singapore are just ads good as the places to see in Singapore. The following is a list of recommendations of museums that you can visit and discover things that you are not aware of before!

Red Dot Design Museum

You might have known that technology is growing by the day and you might be questioning yourself “ will technology replace humans completely in the future?” We recommend you to come to Red Dot Design Museum to learn more about the future.

Red Dot Design Museum is holding an exhibition currently called Human-Nature that will last until 20 September 2019. Here, you will get the opportunity to see unique future objects and they will showcase them in a very epic design!

Will robots live together alongside humans? Will human labour become useless because of robots? These questions should be asked as it might come true in the future. At Human-Nature, we are reminded that humans are special as we are the ones that have the creativity and mind to create robots to make the world a better place.

Are you curious about Human-Nature? Come to Red Dot Design Museum at 11 Marina Boulevard. The nearest MRT Station is Bayfront Exit E. Walk for approximately 4 minutes afterwards or you can also take Downtown Exit B and walk for 4 minutes as well to reach the museum. For tourists, the entrance fee would be 11.80 SGD, 6.40 SGD for children and FREE for children below 6 year old. Click here for father information

Asian Civilisation Museum Singapore

This museum is quite popular for Indonesian tourists. If you have interest in history, this is the right place for you! This museum was opened for the first time in 1997 and is the first museum in Singapore that exhibits Asian culture.

Here, you will be able to learn the past heritage in Asia and they will also show you ancestral legacy of Singapore from 2 centuries ago.

Inside this museum, there are galleries that showcase artefacts and artworks that tell the story of Singapore on the ground floor. You can also find Tiongkok ceramic, contemporary arts, a collection of Tang shipwreck, and many more!

To get here, you can stop at Raffles Place MRT and exit towards Six Battery. This museum will be alongside a river. To enter, prepare 5 SGD for adults and 2.50 SGD for children and elderly.

National Museum of Singapore

You need to come to this Singapore tourist attraction! While the museum mentioned before tells about Asia, this museum specialises in Singapore itself. You can learn more about this beautiful lion country here!

This is the oldest museum in Singapore! You can various kinds of artefacts, archived documents, historical objects and many more that are categorised by each century of Singapore.

This museum is divided into two which are Singapore History Gallery and Singapore Living Galleries. Inside Singapore Living Galleries, displays of Singaporean clothing in the past, food and spices and herbs that they used, pictures of the citizens that time, and videos of what happened in the past can all be found here.

To enter this museum, you will need to pay an amount of 15 SGD for adults or children. You can stop at Bencoolen MRT and walk for 3 minutes to get to National Museum Singapore!
