About Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2019
Red Dot Award: Design Concept is an internationally acknowledged award that only picks its winner that has futuristic concept. Every year, a winner will be elected and the winner will be judged based on his/her innovation and practicality.
Designers and design studios from 48 countries are submitting their work this year to be reviewed by a highly qualified judge to find the winner.
The Art That You Need
Before making final conclusion, the judge will hand pick five works out of 35 art that has reached the Best of the Best category.
Do you know who the winner of Red Dot: Luminary 2019 is this year? It’s none other than Lilium Jet (Lilium GmbH, Germany); RÉSEAU (University of Montreal Grad Research Lab — School of Design, Canada); Hidden Senses (Sony Corporation., Japan); Qoobi ONE (Qoobi B.V., Netherland) and Gift Look (Panasonic Corporation, Japan).
Lilium Jet won with his electric plane that has five seats that can take off and land vertically. This plane can travel as far as 300km in an hour with just once refilling of fuel. Is that not cool enough? Well, this plane can also fly automatically!

Red Dot Design Museum is located at 11 Marina Boulevard Singapore 018940. This exhibition will be held from 27 September to 3 November 2019. Ticket pricing is S$6.40 (above 7 years old for tourists) and it is free for 6 years old children and below.
