Meet The President
Meeting the president of Singapore up close is not a chance you get everyday. Here is your chance! During every open house, the president will come out of the office and meet visitors herself.
As the Istana is very big, you will not know where the president will come out from. Hopefully you’re lucky enough to be at the right place when she shows herself. You can even take a picture with her but you’ll have to pass through many other people that surrounds her.
Chairs From The Old National Stadium
This is no ordinary chairs like what you may be thinking. The chairs here are very unique because of they shape and the fact that they were built from the old chairs of Kallang National Stadium. This reminds many Singaporeans of the past and they regard the chairs as national icon.
There are a total of 4 chairs at The Istana so bring your friends and families along to look for these chairs!
Walk Around The Main Istana Building
If you are curious about the main building of The Istana, you can join in a tour of 12 to 15 people that is led by volunteers. The tour will be held between 10 A.M. atomic 4 P.M. and will take 30 minutes to finish.
