In this article, Agam will share tips on accommodation and lounge that are famous among Singapore tourist attractions!
Satria, one of our SGB Team, interviewed a well known Indonesian influencer by the name of Agam @agamdadam. Agam shared many interesting recommendations of places to stay and places to visit in Singapore. Let’s take a look at his tips!
S: What capsule hotel do you live in when visiting Singapore? Do you have any recommendation?
A: I often stay at spacepod@sg at Kallang area. As it is located near national stadium (normally used as a concert venue). It is more of a hostel than a hotel. Though there are still other hostels that are more affordable for backpackers, spacepod@sg will give you a different experience.
S: What are the facilities that you get when staying at the mentioned capsule hotel?
A: The facilities are considered enough such as drinking water, all day tea and coffee, breakfast, laundry machine, etc. The cleanliness of the rooms is the most important aspect.
S: Can you review the hotel in short?
A: if you re looking for a one of a kind experience where you will feel like sleeping in the outer space, this is definitely my recommendation. Other than having complete facilities, you can check in 24 hours so it won’t be a problem if you have a midnight flight. Every capsule has its own locker for you to store your luggage. It is important, though, to note that you are not allowed to be noisy because there are other people in one room. There are many informations available there and the dos and don’ts instructions to clarify customers.
S: Hw did you know this hotel?
A: I found it on the internet on my own while looking at others’ reviews.
S: Where do you book the room?
A: Through Traveloka.
S: What are the tips to get affordable hotel to stay at?
A: it’s very easy nowadays because you can o=compare price on many platforms such such as traveloka, tiket.com, etc.
S: Where do you usually hang out in Singapore?
A: Honestly, I rarely hang around in Singapore because I would roam around from morning to night to hunt for toys.
S: Is there any great spots that you would recommend in Singapore?
A:There are a few around Bugis street at night where you can find cute and halal snacks. I would usually sit around Art Science Museum Marina Bay Sands or Haji Lane in the afternoon as an alternative for “instagrammable” spots. If you like shopping, Orchard is definitely the shopping centre to visit and you can chill around here too.
S: What are the things that you would do while lounging?
A: take pictures and enjoy my coffee and the scene of this beautiful country.
