Taking place on August and September
Will you be in Singapore this August or September? If you are, you need to know the following information: North South Line (NSL) will be changing its operating time. This is crucial to pay attention to if you are counting on MRT to travel around the country. Just as Channel News Asia has reported, the NSL route will be affected by electrical power supply system updates and maintenance work in the beginning of August to September.
The station included above are the 6 stops between Bukit Batok and Marsiling, which will be opened late at 8 A.M. on Saturday and Sunday from 24 August to 1 September. There will also be 4 stations from Bukit Batok and Yew Tee will be closed early at 11 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday on 6-28 September.
Don’t worry! Shuttle buses will be provided at the stations that will be affected by the change of time. Passengers will be dropped off on destined points by the buses.
However, SMRT party suggested passengers to always check the train schedule daily on the departure time from each station because they might have updates. Make more time to travel so that you won’t be late. Prevention is better than sorry!
