Keong Saik Road
Have you ever come across an OOTD picture on Instagram by influencers of Potato Head bar that is located beside a road intersection? If you have been looking for this place, Keong Saik Road is the answer.
In the 60s, this place was a red-light-district but has become a trendy place now. You can see colourful three storeys shops along this road and you should know that some of the best restaurants in Singapore is also around this area.
How to get there: Outram Park MRT is the nearest station. Next, walk for about 5 minutes to reach Keong Saik Road.
People’s Park Complex
People’s Park Complex is a residential area in the heart of Chinatown. Usually, photographers will come up to a rooftop parking lot at level 6. This is because there is a gigantic yellow residential building that will look very charming in a picture. You can also take an OOTD picture here or below a “Lobby” sign!
How to get there: Take bus No. 2, 12, 33, 61, 63, 80, 143, 197, 961, 970, CT18, CT12 and stop at Eu Tong Sen Street Bus Stop
Universal Studios Singapore *Hidden* Alley
Universal Studios Singapore has a hidden alley that is inspired by the 30s in United States. If you have come to Universal Studios multiple pf times, you might have come across this place. However if it’s your first time, you can find this alley in ‘New York’ section by the ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’
This hidden alley is very Instagrammable even for a beginner photographers because even if you can’t find the perfect angle, there is a big possibility that the pictures will look stunning nevertheless. It is a fact that you do need to pay in order to enter Universal Studios, so drop by this spot if you are planning to play at USS as well!
How to get there: Take the Sentosa Express from Vivo City and stop at Waterfront Station.
Marina Squaren Maze
Are you ready to take your photo hunting experience to the next level? Come to Marina Square Maze, located at the rooftop of Marina Square if you don’t mind getting lost a little! Used as a fire emergency route, this labyrinth might look plain if you take a picture by the walls, but it will look minimalist from the top. Come here for an aesthetic and Insta worthy pictures here!
How to get there: Take the North-South Line (Red Line) or East-West Line (Green Line) towards City Hall MRT Station and walk to CityLink. Alternatively, you can take the Circle Line (Yellow Line) to Esplanade MRT Station or Promenade MRT Station. If you prefer bus, you can get to Marina Square using bus no. 36, 56, 75, 77, 97, 97e, 107M, 171, 195, 960, 961C and stop at Pan Pacific Hotel Bus Stop. Upon arriving at Marina Square mall, go up to level 2 near Samsonite shop to enter the maze.
Raffles Marina Lighthouse
Enjoy the breeze at this Instagrammable place in Singapore! Mercusuar Raffles Marina is located at the west of Singapore at Tuas checkpoint. After taking in the amazing scenery of Johor Strait, you can treat yourself to some delicious food at the nearest restaurants.
How to get there: Take the East-West Line (Green Line) train towards Tuas Link MRT Station. You can also get there by bus no. 192, 193, 247, 248.
