Free Light Shows in Singapore

If you ever find yourself wondering what you can do at night after ending your day time activity and finished your dinner in Singapore, a spectacular light show might just be what you need. Here are some free light shows available for your to enjoy in Singapore

SPECTRA

This 15 minutes show consists of dancing water, orchestra music, and colorful laser lights that project a story. Located in front of Marina Bay Sands Skypark, a Singapore shopping centre, you can watch this show every night at 8pm and in case you missed it, it will be played repeatedly for two to three times daily. To reach Marina Bay Sands Skypark, you can use the MRT and stop at Bayfront MRT station. This location is conveniently near Gardens by the Bay, so it’ll be a perfect way to end your day if you were just from the garden!

2 Bayfront Avenue

CRANE DANCE

Considered the biggest animation show in the world, Crane Dance is located in Sentosa Island at Waterfront. It showcases a romance story by using two 30 meter mechanical swans that dance along to the lights, lasers, water, and music. This show is played for free every day at 8pm. To reach this destination, you can use the Sentosa Express and stop at Waterfront Station

GRADEN RHAPSODY

Garden Rhapsody is a light show at SuperTree Groove located at Gardens by the Bay. Located in one of the best places in Singapore, It is a one of a kind show because the lights actually come from the giant 50 meter trees of Gardens by the Bay. Showcasing every night at 7.40pm and 8.40pm, the lights perform accordingly in sync to its music. Considering the light show only starts at night, you can spend your day time at Marina Barrage to relax on the grass with kites flying in the sky and the entire Gardens by the Bay along with Marina Bay Sands hotel as your view. The nearest MRT station that you can access is Bayfront station to arrive at this location.
