Have you ever thought of travelling overseas alone? Let’s test it out to see if you area ready for it!

According To Trinity, the author of The Naked Traveler, young people today find it a trend to travel solo. As time goes, more parents wills tart to allow their children to travel with their friends or even travel on their own. Is that true?

Found from the sharing session of DBS Indonesia with the theme Spark I Ralph #BreaktheFuture, Trinity shared that traveling alone can be suitable for many but not everyone since different people will have different preferences.

Trinity suggests to stay in a hostel, especially if you re travelling to Europe countries when doing a solo traveling. You can make new friends from different countries so that you won’t feel to alone!

Answer 3 Questions!

If you would like to mown if you can travel on your own, answer these questions that Trinity has provided as a test for yourselves!

  1. Can you watch a movie on your own in cinema?
  2. Can you eat alone in restaurants?
  3. Can you attend a wedding by yourself?

If your answer to all 3 questions are yes, then you are ready to explore the world on your own! If your answer is no, then you are most probably not ready to do so because solo traveling require independent and the boldness to make new friends.

Pros and Cons of Solo Traveling

Solo traveling can be more exciting than when you travel with your friends! Why? Well, it’s because you wouldn’t have to wait for your friends when you want to eat out, rest and explore the country. The conflict of different preferences can be avoided when you are traveling alone too!

Though there are many pros, there are some cons including having a hard time in taking photos of yourself and you’ll have to ask strangers to take the pictures for you. You can solve this problem by bringing a tripod or gorilla pod or selfie stick if you are shy to ask strangers’ help.
