Do This at Gardens by The Bay

It’s not not a secret anymore that Gardens by the Bay is a Singapore view places that tourists love. Your trip to Singapore is not complete without coming to Gardens by the Bay this month! The following article will guide you on what you can do there this month.

Garden Rhapsody

Witness the beauty of Supertree at Garden Rhapsody at night, accompanied by music and colourful lights that make theses trees come to life. You can watch this show everyday at 7.45 P.M. and 8.45 P.M. The most busy hours is 7 P.M. and 9 P.M. so do come early to get the best seat!

Tulip Mania

Experience the feeling of being in Netherlands at this Tulipmania display! You can marvel at the 35 different species of tulips with windmills, waterway, and straw houses as the view. You can learn about the life cycle of tulips and enter the windmills to see the mechanism behind a clock.

Don’t forget to look out for adorable statues of chickens and cows at Dutch Village at Tulipmania area.

Scentational Orchids

Tulipmania has been around since April and will end on 20 May so don’t miss this one out! It is located at Flower Dome so you can enter by buying Flower Dome ticket.

There are numerous kinds of orchids at Cloud Forest. For those who are sensitive to aroma, you will definitely be thrilled here. The smell of various kinds of orchids have their own individual scent. The sweet smell of orchids can be smelled at Phalaenopsis bellina. If you are looking for a specific strong scented orchids, you can try coming to Maxillaria tenuifolia.

Agave Acrylic Painting Workshop

Agave is a plant that has thick and watery leaves, which can contain water in a hot and dry weather. Let’s learn more about the interesting Agave and its leaves using acrylic paint.

This workshop is brought to you by Colours In Bloom Workshop Series. If you are a fan of plants and arts, come to this workshop because you will surely learn many new information! Not only will you learn more about the plant but also new techniques of drawing plants and colouring them! Just like this saying, “kill two birds with one stone”, you will get two advantages coming here!

Visit Agave Acrylic Painting Workshop on 11 May. It’s only a day workshop so marak your calendar and register now! This workshop costs 30 SGD for each person and is perfect for people above 5 years old. It is located at Connonball Room at Superstee Grove and it will be opened from 3 to 5 in the afternoon. It will be such a shame if you miss it!
