Be the first to give them a try and maybe you’ll find a new favourite food in Singapore! It’s time to bring your friends and families to new hangout places and get ready to have some quality time with your loved ones!

Location: Plaza Singapura, Ground Floor, 68 Orchard Road

Nearest MRT: Dhoby Ghaut Station and Somerset Station

You might have seen this mouth watering burger in your favourite food blogger’s feeds on Instagram but you thought that you’ll never get to try it because you live on the other side of USA. Here’s a good news for you: Five Guys (FG) has just opened its first franchise in Singapore! Are hand crafted and made-to-order burgers and special French fries as amazing as your expectation? Looks like there’s only one way to find out!

SUSHIRO

Location: Tiong Bahru Plaza, 302 Tiong Bahru Road #02-118

Nearest MRT: Tiong Bahru Station

6 New Restaurants In Singapore You Need To Try!

You can already guess just by its name what sort of food you can expect from this restaurant right? Sushiro is a famous restaurant from Japan that just opened its first outlet in Southeast Asia. Founded in 1984, Sushiro has more than 530 outlets in Japan, Korea and Taiwan with over 1,360,000 plates of sushi sold per year. It is not a surprise that Sushiro got the highest rank in conveyor belt sushi in the industry for eight years now.

Be served with over 100 different kind of sushi with various affordable sides menu starting from S$2.20. The spices would be imported directly from Japan so you can be assured to receive authentic Japanese sushi. Come here often because Sushiro usually has exclusive menu on some days!

MONGA

Location: Jem, 50 Jurong Gateway Road, #B1-K10

Nearest MRT: Jurong East Station

Here is another brand from Asia, this time, from Taiwan. Do you love fried chicken and its juicy sauce? Do you find yourself licking our fingers after eating fried chicken? Monga introduced its first outlet in Singapore on 28 September at Jem so quickly come!

Monga has three flavours of fried chicken fillets available: The King (original with salt and pepper), Hot Chick (bell pepper flavour) and Taiker (Japanese sauce and seaweed flavour). Monga stands out from other stores because of the fact that they use honey and not white sugar to marinate the chicken so that the flesh would be tender and healthier!

STARTER LAB

Location: 721 Havelock Road

Nearest MRT: Tiong Bahru Station

Bali, Indonesia, has made its way into Singapore by bringing the only Starter Lab in Singapore.

Originated from Cunggu (Bali), Starter Lab has numerous kinds of sandwiches (must try: Lab 3 Cheese and Roasted Cauliflower Sandwich) and pastries such as the legendary Sourdough Bread. There are seven kinds of Sourdough Bread with price starting from S$12 to S$18. Other than the flour based products, Starter Lab also offers Anther by Glasshouse coffee. Come to the takeaway booth if you are in a hurry!

MAXI MANGO

Location: Capitol Piazza 13 Stamford, #B2-29

Nearest MRT: City Hall Station

Maxi Mango is a dessert shop from the Philippines that uses refreshing mango as the main ingredient. This will be perfect to rejuvenate your day when you’ve been under the burning sun of Singapore for a long time!

5 of the favourite flavour at Maxi Mango include Mango Graham, Mango Keso (cheese), Mango Ube (sweet potato), Mango Coconut and Maxi Mango with only S$4.90 (240 ml) and S$6.90 (480 ml). Every dessert will be served together with soft ice cream with slices of mango and other toppings such as biscuit, cheese and coconut. There are also mango shakes and mango graham shake as an alternative that only cost S$6,90.

REBEL

Location: 111 Somerset Road, #01-08 TripleOne Somerset

Nearest MRT: Orchard Station

Do you love Orchard for its convenience? Introducing, Rebel, a sandwich shop at Orchard that won’t make your wallet cry. There are various flavours that are rich in flavour such as The Trad (S$6.90), a chicken with ham, pate and pickled vegetables and Asian Po-Boy (S$8.90) that is filled with fried shrimp.

If you are a vegetarian or if you are trying to ditch meat, there is a vegetarian option that is known as Pure sub (S$ 6.90) that is filled with Spicy Quorn (in replacement of meat that is made out of mycroprotein that taste similarly to chicken). Rebel is submitting HALAL certificate so stay tuned!
