Flying miles above the sea level has its rules and regulations that all passengers must follow. The five rules below exist for your safety and comfort, so read up the following article!
- Kicking The Back of The Chair of The Passenger in Front of You
- Wearing Shorts!
- Lose Control over Alcohol
- Talking Non-stop
- Leaving Footprints in The Toilet
Kicking The Back of The Chair of The Passenger in Front of You
No one is fond of shaking seats and this applies to plane rides as well. Other than considered to be inappropriate, kicking the seat in front of you will cause discomfort that may result in unpleasant reaction from the passenger seating on it. Verbal attack may be given to you or even physical sometimes. It is also not recommended to push your seat backward too far that will invade the territory of the passenger behind you.
As many people know, an airplane’s facilities are made to be practical. Though the airplane may look white without any spots, it is not hygienic enough. This is why you shouldn’t be wearing shorts because looks can be deceiving! This also applies to not leaning on windows and stepping on the airplane’s floor barefoot. You can never know who have sat or used the very same airplane before you, so it is better to be prepared than sorry. To make yourself feel at ease during your travel, you may bring wet tissue to wipe the window area or any part of the plane that you will come in contact with. We would advise you to wear long pants, skirt or dress.
Lose Control over Alcohol
Sipping a glass of wine on an airplane sure does sound fancy right? Especially, when the wine is “for free”, – even though there is no such thing as free in this world – people tend to get over excited about it. Do you know that drinking a glass of alcohol beverages on the airplane will cause you to get drunk two times faster than on land? Now, if you have aerophobia, you may drink a small amount of alcohol beverages to calm your nerves down, but make sure to not over drink it! Trust us, the scene from Home Alone 2 is not as funny in reality as the movie.
Have you ever found yourself getting annoyed over a baby on an airplane that constantly cries? The same applies to adults. In such a compact space such as an airplane, sound will travel faster and thus a high volume of your speaking voice may be heard easily by others. Do consider other passengers who are sleeping by keeping your voice down or simply, speaking less.
Leaving Footprints in The Toilet
No one is fond of wet toilet with footprints of strangers’ shoes. Respect the next person that will be using the toilet by cleaning the toilet after yourself.
Now that you have learned the things that you shouldn’t do on an airplane, are you ready to fly? Will it be your first time flying? Have you done any of the don’ts mentioned above? Let us know in the comment section below!
