Happy Chinese New Year! In this time of the year, there are many exciting events and parades in Singapore. As you might have known, Chingay Parade and River Hongbao are the highlights of CNY in Singapore. However, aside from that, do you know that you can also immerse in this occasion by going to the following Singapore tourist attractions?

Dahlia Dreams at Gardens by the Bay

Till 24 February

Gardens by the bay has always been attracting people each year with CNY exhibitions at Flower Dome. All the themes always include blooming dahlia flowers and other prosperous symbol flowers such as narcissus, cymbidium, and chrysanthemum with the Chinese Garden as the background. Everyone will be taking an OOTD picture here and you surely would’t want to be left behind right? Click here for further information.

Dive into a Sea of Abundance at the SEA Aquarium

Till 19 February

Witness SEA Aquarium that comes to life with magical underwater dragon show along with other fun activities that bring many luck. Bring your children and take as many Instagram pictures as you want! For further details, click here.

Spring Surprise at Gardens by the Bay

2 – 10 February

Watch a spectacular LED show of Tiongkok myth (yes, about dragons) and China Orchestra from Singapore Chinese Orchestra and Ding Yi Music Company. And, of course a CNY is not complete without a lion dance so you can see this at Supertree Grove for FREE! Click here for further information.

Huayi Festival at The Esplanade

15 – 24 February

The annual Tiongkok Arts Festival in Singapore is back! This time, complete with theatre, music, dance performances, workshops, and many more! Among the highlight for this year is an adaptation from a modern Tiongkok Hamlet, directed by a well known director, Li Liuyi. An opera inside a concert that will showcase an adaptation from a classical short story of Strange Tales will also be here from China Studio by Pu Songling. There is also a workshop about parents and children that enable children to have fun with arts and crafts. View their official website here for further information!
