Singapore Is Still Charming As Ever At Night

Who said that Singapore loses its charm at night? It is actually during night time where city lights are visible which give the country a different kind of beauty. There are many best places to see in Singapore and we are here to share them with you loyal Singapore Guidebook readers! Who knows, these places may be added to your itinerary!

Roof Terrace-Esplanade

You know what Esplanade is by now right? Yup, the durian like roof of Esplanade building is decorated with lights that look beautiful at night, accompanied by the city view. Particularly, when you go up to the rooftop, the surrounding view such as Marina Bay and Fullerton Hotel are waiting for you! You can also take pictures at this man made rooftop garden.

How to get there: Stop at City Hall MRT Station and take Exit H or stop at Esplanade MRT Station to stop at Exit D.

Marina Barrage

Exquisite Singapore city lights can also be seen at Marina Barrage. Considered to be inside Marina Bay Area, you will have Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay and Supertree as your view. Do come when it’s sunset to have a picnic here and watch all kinds of shapes and sizes of kites flying in the orange and blue sky.

How to get there: take bus number 400 and stop at Marina Barrage

Supertree

Not far from Marina Bay, Supertree at Gardens by the Bay brigs you magical giant trees with fairy lights. Come here to watch the light show as well and use your bag as a pillow, lay on the floor, and enjoy the lights in action. Don’t worry, this place is free unless if you want to go to the top, OCBC walk which costs S$ 5. It is enough to stay down if you don’t want to spend your money on it, it’s also very pretty to take a picture here. 

How to get there: stop at Bukit Panjang MRT, take Exit E, and walk for 13 minutes. 

ION Sky

Lose yourself in Singapore’s charms by going up to the 55th and 56th floor ION Sky. Standing 218 metre tall from teh ground, ION Sky makes assures you that you will have an unblocked view of the country. There is also a bar on this level. It is perfect if you are coming here for a date or with the people that you love! 

How to get there: Stop at Orchard MRT and walk for about 3 minutes. Take the lift to level 4 and go to the gallery direction where there is a special lift that will take you to level 55 and 56.
